fuel valve trial assembly: 2009-02-02
Nikon Coolpix 8400
The fuel valve temporarily assembled on its plywood mounting plate and connected to the selector by the extension shaft. The green felt-tip pen marks a little further up the tunnel wall show the first proposed mount position, before I modified the tube bender to allow bends closer to the flared end. This final position of the mounting plate brings the ends of the AN822-6D elbows just clear of the narrow part of the tunnel and so improves access for fitting the pipes.
