Lumix DMC-FT1
A string stretched between the wingtips to check that there is no sweep-back or sweep-forward on the wings while checking the incidence. This is the second check, after fitting SRBF spar guides which help to stop the spars moving aftwards away from the seatback while rigging. The aft edges of the duct-tape patches lie along a line 32mm forward of the skin joint and so should be in line with the port skin joint. The string lines up with both references, confirming correct alignment of the wings with each other.
