fitting Hartwell latch: 2023-10-21 Panasonic DC-TZ90
Fitting Hartwell latch to starboard cowl access hatch cover. Quite a bit of epoxy-flox has squeezed out into the latch operating cutout and will need to be removed before it cures. Greased clecos are fitted in the holes away from the edge of the cover. Greased skin pins are fitted adjacent to the edge so that the operating tongue of the latch can be snugged up to the flange of the opening, but not so tight as to distort anything.
