Here is the gap between the double rib and the bottom skin on my port wing. Looks as though not enough Redux was applied during manufacture to fill the gap.

This is how far I could push a 150mm steel rule under the double rib, at the deepest part of the gap. Elsewhere, it was only 10mm or less deep.

It's not very pretty, but I feel happier about it now! The only way I could abrade the bonding area was with a hacksaw blade slid into the gap. I tilted the wing up to help persuade the Redux to run under the rib as much as possible, and formed a small fillet along the rib-skin junction.
