Starting to drill a hole in the centre of the angled fishmouth ground on the 16mm mild steel round bar.

The 16mm and 19mm round steel bars joined with a M6 screw. The wooden template shows that the angle of the bars matches that between the bottom tube and the diagonal tube at the starboard bottom corner of the landing gear frame.
