instrument module inner flange: 2014-03-24
Lumix DMC-FT1
An inner flange laid up on the instrument module. This was necessary because the original outer flange had to be trimmed down to match the shape of the firewall, and there was not enough width left for the retaining screws. This picture was taken just before starting to trim the original outer flange to match the firewall. The instrument module had been sprayed mat black before the new flange layup - it would have been better to leave that until after all the glass work.
