flap tube rigging guide with alignment fixture: 2017-05-27 Panasonic DMC-FT1
I made up a fixture from aluminium round bar to hold the guide in correct alignment with the flap pin while it is being bonded in. The hole at the small end of the fixture fits over the flap pin. The screw-eye is for extracting the fixture after the layup is cured. The step in the fixture holds the guide at the correct distance from the flap root former, so that the small end of the guide is at the end of the flap pin.
