A piece of plastic cut to form a barrier against migration of flox and BID during bonding of the flap tube guide. The central hole in the plastic fits over the guide alignment fixture.

Bonding in the flap tube guide. There is a bed of flox under the guide, built up each side in a fillet, with 4 layers of BID over and extending onto the flap root flange.
