cockpit module trimmed and fretted: 2008-06-17
Nikon Coolpix 8400
The cockpit module upside-down on the lawn after trimming off all the edges and fretting out all the holes. With so much material removed, it's much more floppy and has to be handled carefully. The baggage well area (at the left here) is particularly fragile as once the external flanges are removed there is little strength where it joins the headrest area.
