standard lathe feed gears: 2018-11-14 Apple iPhone 6
The standard gear setup for the leadscrew auto-feed on my Cowell 90 lathe:
20T on headstock
20T drives 32T attached to 16T
16T drives 56T attached to 20T
20T drives 64T on leadscrew
With the 1mm pitch leadscrew, that gives a fine feed rate of 0.0558mm per revolution of the headstock.
Also visible are the wheels for the back-gear.

The gear setup for a leadscrew feed of 2.1333mm per revolution, 64T driving 30T with a couple of 32T idlers. This will cut a thread of 11.90625 TPI, the nearest I can get to 12TPI with the 1mm pitch leadscrew on this lathe.
