wires 101 and 104 made in welding cable
Welding cable replacing Nyvin: 2020-09-28 Panasonic DMC-FT1
Here are the wires 101 and 104 which were originally made up in 4AWG Nyvin. Bob Nuckolls saw a picture of the Nyvin wire connected to the starter motor earth lug and suggested that Nyvin would be too inflexible for such a duty and likely to cause failure of the terminal lug. So, I have replaced both these heavy wires going from rigid parts of the structure to the engine with welding cable. I've also used slightly thicker terminal lugs. The cable I used, 25mm squared, is between the cross-sectional area of 4WG (21.2) and 3AWG (26.7). You can see here that the Nyvin originals have taken a set where they were bent to fit.
