Blue foam pieces carved to fit between the door frames of the fuselage top moulding. At the forward end, note the piece of plywood fixed to the firewall flange of the top moulding, and supported on a couple of wooden blocks. This ensures that the fuselage profile does not deform under its own weight while the top-hat layups over the foam pieces cure.

The new top-hat layups cured with peel-ply removed. it's not immediately obvious, but the plywood support that was attached to the firewall flange of the fuselage moulding has also been removed - the shadow on the ground confirms that, and also shows that the forward top-hat layup is doing its job of stiffening the bow between the doors. Before this layup was done, the windscreen bow sagged quite a bit when placed upside-down like this and the firewall flange nearly touched the ground. As the gap between the firewall flange and its shadow shows, it's now held well clear of the ground.
