The plywood buffer (which limits the upward travel of the tailplane mass-balance weight) being bonded to the underside of the splash moulding. There's a piece of wood under the weight supporting it in position.

The plywood buffer (which limits the upward travel of the tailplane mass-balance weight) being bonded to the underside of the splash moulding. Underneath the weight is an arrangement of wooden pieces to keep the weight lightly in contact with the plywood while the Redux 420 cures.
