fuel tank vent assembly curing: 2016-03-12 Panasonic DMC-FT1
Here is a AN823-6D elbow that has been modified by opening up the bore of the 1/4" NPT end with a letter W drill bit to accept a length of 3/8" OD aluminium tube. The tube has been bent slightly so that it will reach into the top corner of the fuel tank when fitted, and is now being bonded to the AN823-6D fitting at the correct angle with Redux (Araldite 420). The assembly is curing in the boiler cupboard where (as the display indicates) the climate is warm and dry.
