port rudder shaft seal fixings: 2019-08-26 Panasonic DMC-FT1
The inboard face of the port footwell, showing the fixings for the rudder shaft seal. The upper anchor nuts are fixed to the inside face of the footwell. Because the landing gear frame prevents access to the aft anchor nut, it is secured with M2.5 x 10 stainless steel CSK socket screws. The lower anchor nuts (only the forward one visible here) are fixed to the tunnel face of the footwell because those screws go into blind holes below the level of the footrest.
