About to bond wing skin: 2007-11-16.
Nikon Coolpix 8400
Starboard wing skin ready for bonding, viewed from root end. All mating surfaces were degreased, abraded and degreased again before application of the flox-thickened Redux to the ribs and outline.
About to bond wing skin: 2007-11-16.
Nikon Coolpix 8400
Starboard wing skin ready for bonding, viewed from tip end. There is a BID patch on the underside of the skin where the horn-box recess has been widened. The blue line across that patch is not significant; the piece of BID had been previously marked-out for something else, but not cut.
