forward port wing socket bonding: 2014-12-19
Lumix DMC-FT1
Heating resistors in place on the port forward wing pin socket. This allowed the Redux to cure at 50C in 4 hours instead of 5 days at room temperature. This picture was taken when the wings were removed after cure.
aft port wing socket bonding: 2014-12-19
Lumix DMC-FT1
Heating resistors in place on the port aft wing pin socket. This allowed the Redux to cure at 50C in 4 hours instead of 5 days at room temperature. This picture was taken when the wings were removed after cure. Alas, it also shows the stupid error I made - the W26A socket is upside-down, with the 3rd (3/16") hole at the top instead of the bottom. I didn't spot this at the time and had to correct it later.
