making up hose-end connector: 2019-09-21 Panasonic DMC-FT1
Making up a 101-06 hose-end on a length of 100-06 stainless steel braided hose. Here the hose has been inserted well into the socket by pushing and turning, until the end touches the internal shoulder. The hose position has been marked with yellow insulating tape wrapped around it, butting against the socket.

Making up a 101-06 hose-end on a length of 100-06 stainless steel braided hose. Here the nipple has been screwed well into the socket until the clearance between them is within tolerance. The yellow insulating tape wrapped around the hose is still butting against the socket, showing that the hose has not been driven out of its correct position in the socket.
