line-level output jack: 2021-04-28 Panasonic DMC-FT1
The 3.5mm stereo line-level output jack fitted to the headset box. All the soldered joints are supported with cable ties and heatshrink sleeving to minimise vibration damage. This was not part of the original plan; I had installed a similar jack socket on the instrument module, but fed it from the loudspeaker output on the comm radio. I did not realise at the planning stage that only incoming radio reception appears at the LS output, and so intercom and transmissions would not be heard at that point. It was easier to tap in to the headset circuit in the headset box than to modify the wiring in the instrument module - that had been done from the firewall side, before the module was installed in the cockpit.
