fitting door latch covers: 2021-04-21 Panasonic DMC-FT1
The starboard door latch cover fitted with temporary screws, shown here with the door closed. I decided to fit the covers in a way that they could be removed for service access to the door bolt mechanism, rather than bond them on permanently as suggested by the factory. This will also allow the door handles to be removed for painting the doors.
