Starting to make a firewall pass-through from a stainless steel jam funnel. Here a few cuts have been made around it with an angle-grinder, to separate the nozzle from the main part of the bowl.

Making a firewall pass-through from a stainless steel jam funnel. Here the nozzle has been separated from the main part of the bowl.

Here the remainder of the bowl has been flattened and trimmed roughly circular. After doing all this, I realised the nozzle was much too large for the wire bundle I need to pass through the firewall, but if I can find a smaller stainless steel funnel, I know now the idea will work.
