Lumix DMC-FT1
The FL18 hinge brackets for the flap cross-tube mounted on a straight-edge for alignment. Unfortunately, with this arrangement, the upright part of the aluminium angle straight-edge fouled the bend in the centre of the cross-tube, and the protruding ends of the straight-edge fouled the FL16 hinge arms.

The straight-edge shortened and reversed to avoid fouling the cross-tube and the hinge arms.
