Rotax engine on crane: 2016-03-14 Panasonic DMC-FT1
The Rotax 912ULS engine lifted off its pallet for the first time by my engine crane. The manual advises lifting by straps around the inlet manifolds, but with the way my crane hook is orientated I found it handier to sling ropes under the gearbox and through the top of the ring mount.
