door frame gap impression: 2017-02-02 Panasonic DMC-FT1
To help visualise and check the space available between the door and the fuselage rebate for the DL07 shoot bolt guides, I made a moulding on the starboard side with some Isopon P38 polyester filler. I applied it directly to the fuselage rebate, then pressed the door into place with polyethylene sheet interposed. This is the forward bottom corner of the door aperture. The moulding has been cracked off the rebate, and needs my finger to hold it in place.
