lower cowl alignment jig: 2023-06-17 Panasonic DMC-FT1
A part of the waste from the lower half of the cowl prepared as a jig for assisting the alignment of the lower cowl. Scraps of offcuts are riveted on both faces of the jig to keep it in line with the edge of the cowl. I feel this may be needed because before the propshaft hole was enlarged, I used the good fit of the lower cowl against the propshaft to ensure correct alignment of the cowl. With the propeller and spinner in place, the jig may not be necessary, but it is good to know it is available if needed.
edge of cowl alignment jig: 2023-06-17 Panasonic DMC-FT1
