lower cowl positioning jig: 2018-11-03 Panasonic DMC-FT1
I made this jig for getting the lower cowl in the correct position. Initially the cowl was positioned by a hole the same size as the propshaft. This needs to be enlarged to clear the prop driver flange and the slip rings for the prop controller, so that initial location will be lost.

I made this jig for getting the lower cowl in the correct position. Initially the cowl was positioned by a hole the same size as the propshaft. This needs to be enlarged to clear the prop driver flange and the slip rings for the prop controller, so that initial location will be lost. The jig, made from a couple of aluminium offcuts riveted together for stiffness, attaches to the studs on the vacuum pump pad.
