Brass clamp on piano-wire: 2011-01-13
Lumix DMC-FT1
The black circle marks where the torque tube will be fitted. A small hole is drilled in the centre on each side of the fuselage, and a piece of piano-wire passed through. On it are clamped brass terminals to keep the fuselage sides pressed in to their correct position.

View inside the rear fuselage, looking aft, with the rear bulkhed in position and the fuselage sides held in to the correct width by brass clamps outside the fuselage on the piano-wire passing through the centres of where the torque-tube will be fitted.
