Preparing to close the hood on the 25-way D-sub connector for the Funkwerk ATR833 comm radio. Note the cable-tie inside the hood, to help prevent any relative movement of wires that could cause fatigue at the solder joints.

The 25-way D-sub connector fitted to the Funkwerk ATR833 comm radio. In the foreground is the connector for the Trig TC20 transponder control head. It is absent while having a software update so it can work with the Trig TN72 GPS position source.
