The fuselage top and bottom mouldings out in the fresh air waiting to be joined together. Note the tarpaulins to protect the drive (permeable resin-bound gravel, since you ask!) from drips of Redux (or Araldite 420 as it is now called).

Lifting the fuselage top moulding for a trial fit. Note that the profile at the fin-fuselage junction has now been cut out to the final shape, leaving a very small isthmus, and a potential stress-riser at the resulting sharp internal corner. Hence my rather obvious careful handling at that point.
