Testing the appearance of the sight gauge backing patterns, with a short length of tube filled with petrol. The different refraction in the filled and empty sections of the tube shows the fuel level quite clearly. I made both red and black patterns.

The different refraction in the filled and empty sections of the tube shows the fuel level quite clearly. I made both red and black patterns, but I think the black is a bit clearer so will use that.
