rudder deflection port: 2014-10-13
Lumix DMC-FT1
The rudder viewed from above at full port deflection. Instead of gouging a piece out of the top corner of the rudder as the manual advises, I trimmed back the fin tip to allow the rudder to swing to port. The 30-60-90 set-square shows that the deflection is about 30 degrees.
rudder deflection starboard: 2014-10-13
Lumix DMC-FT1
With no pushrod attached, the rudder will swing about 90 degrees to starboard.
