positioning end of tailwheel arm: 2013-08-27
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1
Setting the position of the tailwheel arm, using a laser level projector (Quigo) - that's the black box in the foreground. The red line projected by the laser doesn't show up in the picture - too much daylight. I traced the projected line of the fuselage bottom onto the white board with a felt-tip pen, then drew a parallel line at the required 235mm below for the end of the tailwheel arm.
tailwheel arm to fuselage floor distance: 2013-08-27
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1
Measuring the gap between the eye-end of the tailwheel arm and the fuselage floor, with the fuselage levelled and the bottom end of the tailwheel arm the prescribed 235mm below the bottom of the fuselage.
