fin wedge: 2014-09-30
Lumix DMC-FT1
A block of wood inserted into the top of the fin to spread the sides apart for the process of bonding in the fin ribs. Just visible are the areas inside the fin where the ribs will fit, abraded ready for bonding. The fin ribs are sitting on top of the fin. The conduit for the comm radio antenna is the white thing sticking through the rear bulkhead. I was so busy after this doing the Redux 420 mixing and spreading that I didn't have time to take any more photos that day!
