bonding FL18S: 2015-03-09
Lumix DMC-FT1
Bonding in FL18S with Redux. Mixing sticks have been inserted below FL18S to support it in the correct position. The aluminium-angle straight-edge which keeps FL18S & FL18P in alignment with each other is attached with sacrificial nylon screws which will be drilled out when the Redux is cured. The nylon screws have countersunk heads and the size was chosen so that the heads lie almost flush with the undersurface of the FL18s.
