Move ailerons out to trailer and stow then underneath the flaps. Clear stuff from underneath the fuselage and roll it out onto the drive for access to the port footwell. Remove starboard SS firewall piece. Fit XCS19P port inboard rudder pedal to CS22 bearing block and screw down. Fit CS21 crank between XCS19P and CS18 with temporary plain nuts. Try to re-insert starboard firewall piece but can't fit it through the small gap. Instead offer up lower firewall piece and mark on it where it has to be clear of the rudder pedal shaft and crank. Remove and overlay it on the starboard side piece to see if the overlap could be altered to ease things, by extending the lower piece so the overlap is clear of the critical area, but no clear solution emerges. Getting cold as the sun is going down so roll fuselage back into garage and put everything away. |
