I am sad to record that I have made no progress on the aeroplane this month.
I can as usual offer plenty of excuses but the main thing is that I am
discouraged by the failure to achieve the desired weight reduction by
sanding the paint and filler off the undersides of the ailerons. It is not
pleasant to contemplate destroying the beautiful (and expensive) finish on
the upper surfaces as well.
I hope that in the new year I can get more motivated, sort out the ailerons, and then move on to tasks that seem more attractive. |
