dolly safety screw repair: 2023-01-06 Panasonic DMC-FT1
The bent safety screw has been removed, the thread in the bracket recut, and a spacer pad has been added to the opposing face on the moving part of the dolly. The capscrews securing the spacer pad are visible here.

The replacement safety screw bearing against the steel-plate spacer pad, which reduces the overhanging length of the screw and thus the likelihood of it failing again.
