fitting fuel filler cover: 2022-07-18 Panasonic DMC-FT1
Attaching the fuel filler cover. Here the first bracket (below left corner of cover in this picture) is attached to the cover with a temporary short screw (to avoid wearing the anchor nut threads unnecessarily) and is being bonded to the fuselage side. The cover is propped in position while the epoxy cures with a length of aluminium tube (centre to right side of picture) braced against a cushion in the opposite baggage well.
