DSCN0817

2007-07-24: Nikon Coolpix 8400; Cessna 152 G-BFEK

Gloucestershire floods 2007. Looking out to starboard (northwest) over Wainlode Hill (lower left). Just beyond Wainlode, the S-curve of the Severn can be seen only as the vegetation along the banks. Coming in from the right side to join the river is a line of trees in the water marking the course of the disused Coombe Hill Canal. Another line of trees all the way across the flooded Severn marks the B4213 road across Haw Bridge. The Malvern Hills are on the horizon at left.
